    ok, "Ecktaschen". Auf was für Ideen man halt beim Wäscheaufhängen so kommt.

    Edit: Mittagspause im Park, Versuche mit umgekrempelten Ecktaschen: leider das gleiche Gewürge wie zuvor. Oder ich zu doof. Ich gehe mal davon aus, dass ich ein Vor-Serienexemplar habe, das schlicht zu kurz ist. Oder die Stangen sind zu lang. Deshalb OT. Muss man mal auf Review aus UK warten, wo das X2 ja schon einige Zeit im regulären Verkauf ist. Bei den Vertragshändlern in D ist es ja noch nicht aufgetaucht offensichtlich.

    WonderBär I find the weight listed on the official website—just over 1 kg—to be fairly accurate. Let's keep in mind that we're talking about a tent that costs about €160


    When I know I’ll be hiking on trails where I can’t or don’t want to bring trekking poles, it’s wonderful—and I’ll say it again, with the four guy lines properly set up, it’s also very stable in the wind. It does have its limitations, though—for example, if your backpack is large and you’re over 1.75, and maybe you’re also carrying a winter sleeping bag… either the backpack sticks out, or the sleeping bag touches the walls.
    In the summer, the bottom vent creates good airflow. If it’s really hot, though, I just leave the door open and gaze at the stars.
    Unfortunately, we all know that the criteria for true freestanding tents are hard to meet, and Assault Tents, in particular, all have the problem that rain gets in when they’re open. However, they have the “simplicity” of requiring only two poles without a hub.
    The only Assault-style model with a sort of tiny canopy to provide some protection from the rain was the Black Diamond Hilight.
