WonderBär , wie im letzten Absatz geschrieben, ich hab nichts bemerkt und insbesonders das T-Shirt hat wirklich gelitten, aber das ganze ist anscheinend auch extrem individuell.
Vorteil Polypropylen ist zumindest, dass man es schnell auch mal durchwaschen kann.
Insgesamt bin ich auf Touren kein großer Fan von Merino, mal abgesehen von Socken in Mischgewebe und vielleicht Kleinkram wie Mützen, wenn der Kram einmal nass wird bekommt man ihn unter Umständen kaum noch trocken.

I think with any fabric if you can 'air' it often as possible you can go some way to inhibiting the growth of the bacteria-so the smell. The ultra low weight of the PP would help too.
The Polartec 'Powerdry Silkweight' is a wee bit heavier but, similar in this regard.

Ich glaube es wurde hier noch nicht erwähnt, aber ich finde die LightHeart Gear 20D SilPoly-Regenjacke ziemlich gut. Hatte sie in Island bei ordentlichem Regen und Wind an und sie hat hervorragend dicht gehalten und wirkt auch erstaunlich stabil, auch die großen Reissverschlüsse und so. Wirkt stabiler als eine Montbell Versalite GoreTex Jacke die ich zum Vergleich habe. Gibt es für leider relativ viel Geld (200€) in Deutschland beispielsweise bei walkonthewildside.de zu bestellen.

Ist das beschichtetes Tyvek? Das Zeug ist ja super günstig und angeblich dicht! Allerdings lese ich dazu eigentlich nichts in den deutschen Foren.

No, it's not tyvek in the FT. Tyvek will stay dry until you develop deep folds, scuffs etc then they will leak. I made a running rucksack from it a while back and used it a fair bit and while I used it, rain stayed out.

Danke für eure Hinweise, Ideen und Einwände! Falls ich mich für diesen Weg entscheide, werde ich auf jeden Fall erst eine Weile tüfteln, bevor ich meinen hübschen neu genähten Pulli ruiniere. Ihr habt mir auf jeden Fall schon weitergeholfen.

) the Rab-Pulse type stuff (UPF too low for sun-but with the ultra air permeable weave) on the skin?It's light and very comfy on the skin at about 60-70 gms for a long sleeved T-shirt. A short sleeved version might also do the trick.
Recently I wore it under an Argon 49 hoody (32 gms) to sleep in and it was just perfect. Dreamy for sleepwear.
This was my solution to have best comfort, clean sleeping. I have handled the monofilament and I don't think I could sleep in it.
The stabilising mesh backing on alpha is a pain on the skin -especially after it's absorbed all the minerals from your sweat.

This little spoon has seen several hundred kms now. Halved the handle length.
The lid of any pet drink bottle is almost exactly 10mls for metho burners.
Plus you get a nice little kick when next you have a drink from your water bottle.

Walkin'that is a stich typ of my sewing machine.
The material is only a little stiff, like a 100gsm tent floor material. It is not as stiff as X-Pack. The pack does not hold structure, when on its own. You need to fill it.

Does it have a very soft structure ('floppy' is the only word I can think of) compared to something like Xpac?
Is there any 'stiffness' (even light) at all in that fabric?

For two years the kite sat on the floor of the laundry while I tried to work out a way to use it.
I've now run out of ideas though I think.
22 X 10.5 cms. Fits my big Pixie pro in comfortably.
