I ran for 10kms through those trees, over sand dunes etc with about 2kgs in it and it was fine.
It fits snugly-it's the third one I've made in exactly the same cut, size and shape so I have had a bit of practise to get it to fit my torso.
It will have about 3.5 kgs on Friday with a wee bit more water. I got the nylon for free, so thought what the hell!
I hope my English gets through OK.![]()
Walkin' Thanks! Do you have a pattern at hand? I'd maybe like to try one myself, it doesn't look too complicated. I can only sew by hand, but that shouldn't be a problem.
Today, Germans learn English from first grade onwards. Might I ask where you are from? The "kg" and "wee bit" lets me guess Ireland or Scotland? ![]()
Sorry, I don't have a pattern. I draw the lines straight onto the nylon with a ruler and pencil.
The se-ams are quite complicated to ensure strength but by all means have a go
. They are all double or triple stitched.
Even a simple machine would be better maybe if you could get one -and definitely quicker.
Testing.

Plus some extra pics, just for fun, from my travels over the last few days'.
Cheers

For two years the kite sat on the floor of the laundry while I tried to work out a way to use it.
I've now run out of ideas though I think.
