There are thirty or forty grams of zips-at least on there.

Nice colour! I like orange!
Orange is nice, but this red one I finished last night might be my favourite.
Earlier today in the rain....
Incorporated a Y-cord closure this time.

There's certainly a wee gap in the market for something along the Torrid line for those that wont entertain EE any more.
Since Nunatak went to down gear only (their Apex jacket was easily the best! ), from a clothes-maker's perspective, The Liteway looks to be the best and better (and lighter) if they reduced the front pockets.

Off track running Rucki. Just finished in the 210D nylon Martin Martin mentioned a few posts back.
I have a red and grey one coming next.
All the strong attachment 'webbing' for the cords is cut from the kite surfing kite.
108 grams 12-14 litres.

Mein Micro Puff ist inzwischen auch relativ platt 😕 Kann man mit Waschen und speziellem Trocknen (Tennisball) da wieder was auffluffen oder muss ich das nach 3 Jahren einfach hinnehmen?
Surely you have to give it a go!
I might try the bathtub gently massaging/soaking in lightly soapy warm water and keep rinsing and gentle squeezing until the water is clear.
If that makes no difference, give it a go in the washing machine-you've got nothing to lose as Fatrat alluded.

Oh wow, what a cool hoodie! Am I seeing this right, that you have conjured up a windbreaker?
Which fabirc did you use?
That would be the perfect complement to my Alpha accessoires... Looks like the same shade of green.
🍀
Thanks.
Not quite, it could also be used for that but, primarily it's 68 gram rain hoodie.
I was given the material some years ago to try. Sorry, I can't quite remember where it came from.

You can also get digital manuals for nearly every machine made as well. Domestic machines up to the 80s are gold. Made for making everything from curtains to clothes.
I wouldn't touch a Singer made after they sold up.

Just to add...
Regarding repairs I took a part from my 1980s Janome into a sewing shop just yesterday as I needed a tiny screw. Walked out with a new spare part and screws- all for about 2 euro. If it comes with the wee manual and protective case even better! Older machines tend to be built far better.

1980s model. If it works, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
Cheap as.

I'm for seam sealer as well.
And maybe a wee patch of tenacious tape/piece of nylon (if you have some ) over the top for extra durability.

Hey, that sounds great!
A Wind Hoodie is also worn in Action, what means, between your Shoulders and the Shoulder Straps!
If this last for 5 Years, I‘ve no „fear“ anymore, that my Torrid Jacket also last this long!
Wear it and enjoy it! The Apex inside will collapse much quicker most likely than the nylon on the outside.
I wear one over an Alpha 120 hoody most of the time when sitting around...it is nicely toasty.

Should be fine. I own two wind hoodies and pants made in much the same 7D, all are over five years old with much use and all are fine.
Snagging the fabric on sharp objects/tree branches (perhaps a torn finger nail?) is the only issue-as it would also be on 10D.
Inside a jacket would be no issue. It's much harder to tear and put a hole in it than you might think. It is also more wind and moisture permeable though than the 10D-quite a bit more.
